Otago Fall Prevention Program

Introducing Otago, a unique, progressive exercise program that’s been shown to reduce the risk of falls in participants by up to 35%. The group will meet twice a week with an Otago-trained physical therapist to complete seventeen strength and balance exercises. Benefits of the program include: strengthened balance, increased muscle strength, and enhanced general fitness and well-being.
REGISTRATION
What: This program meets twice a week for 8 consecutive weeks.
When: Every Monday and Thursday starting January 8th and ending on March 7th. Sessions will run from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Cost: Free!!! There is no cost to participants.
Please note: The first day of class is on Monday, January 8th, and will consist of a brief assessment to evaluate your fall risk prior to participating in the program. The first day of exercise will be Thursday, January 11th.
