Alateen meets weekly on Wednesdays from 4pm to 5pm at Stilly Valley Health Connections in Arlington.   Alateen is a fellowship of young people (10 to 18 years), whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking.  During the meetings, teens share experiences, strength and hope with each other, and learn effective ways to cope with their problems living with or without parents and loved ones with alcohol dependence.Alateen meetings are conducted by the teenagers themselves, with guidance from adult sponsors.  Adult sponsors are vetted as meeting all the Al-Anon Area (Washington State) requirements and a Washington State Patrol Background Check. The adult sponsors are responsible for the teens’ welfare and safety at meetings.
