‘Get to Know’ the Arlington Public School’s McKinney-Vento program for children and youth experiencing homelessness.

Join us as we ‘Get to Know’ the Arlington Public School’s McKinney-Vento program, which provides stability in school attendance and other services for displaced youth and their families. Displaced youth may be eligible to receive district services including Title I, LAP, special education, bilingual education, career, and technical education programs, gifted and talented programs, and school nutrition programs. Learn how the McKinney-Vento program works to provide stability for youth experiencing homelessness and see who qualifies for assistance. The discussion will also include information about the Meals ’til Monday program, which is offered to youth in partnership with the Arlington Community Food Bank.

There will be time available at the end of the presentation to ask questions. For more information and to sign-up, please contact Stilly Valley Health Connections at 360-386-9918 or info@stillyvalleyhealth.org.
