Affordable, versatile and an American favorite, potatoes are one of the most commonly used vegetable. Yet in todays “carbs are bad” era, many people are being encouraged to cut this humble starchy vegetable out of their diets. So, are potatoes okay to eat? Do they offer any nutrition? Do they belong on a balance dinner plate? Join us Wednesday to find the answers to these questions and more!

This cooking demo class will be led by Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Taelin Flores, and cosponsored with Verdant Health Commission. Recipes will be shared with participants after taking this virtual class.  This class is free and open to anyone in the community to join.
