Enjoy this 9 minute class that takes you through therapeutic stretches according to the meridians (energy channels) most active during summer. Please modify the up-dog pose to a cat-cow or gentle baby cobra pose as desired. Also feel free to pause the video to slow down the practice and savor each stretch or pose more fully. Find this informative sequence here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Log5v4PMMQ&t=184s
7. Intention:
What intention or focus would you like to take with you into the rest of your day or evening? What focus or just one word will support you at this time? Given that joy is one of the emotions associated with summer in the meridian model, I’m going to keep calling myself to notice all the little joyful things that are so easily taken for granted.
8. Namaste:
And finally, let us take a compassionate bow to each other, and to each one on the planet. Namaste: the divine light of consciousness in me honors the divine light of consciousness in you.
Thank you for tuning in to this yoga moment, blessings to you and your loved ones, and enjoy your summer!
