Event Series Event Series: Diabetes-Friendly Living [Online]
This three-week program for adults diagnosed with Diabetes will cover numerous strategies for better blood sugar control.

Join us for this three-week program to learn everyday strategies for better blood sugar control. The class will cover tips for shopping and eating out, self-care and your daily routine’s impact on your blood glucose, how your blood sugar checks can help you to identify trends, and how to personalize your dietary and activity routines to improve your blood glucose levels.

This interactive, small-group program is presented on Zoom and is a refresher course for adults diagnosed with Diabetes who have already had formal Diabetes education. This class is not intended for individuals newly diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes.

The class will be led by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Specialist from Sound Dietitians, LLC, and is co-sponsored by Stilly Valley Health Connections and Verdant Health Commission.

Date: Every other Monday- May 6th, May 20th, and June 3rd

Time: 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm PST

Location: Online via Zoom

Cost: Free

Note: If this class is oversubscribed, priority will be given to residents living in the areas served by Public Hospital District #2 (Verdant Health Commission serving South Snohomish County) and Public Hospital District #3 (Stilly Valley Health Connections serving North Snohomish County) due to funding restrictions. Individuals living outside of the boundaries will only remain on the list if space is available. Participants will be notified of the status of their spot in the class no later than Wednesday, May 1st.
