Blue Zones Book Club
March 12 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
| FreeJoin us for this book club to learn about the world’s five “Blue Zones”, which are places in the world where people are living longer and healthier than average. The group will read the book, The Blue Zones Solution by Dan Buettner. The book discusses which elements of healthy living are the biggest contributors to longevity, and how you can incorporate those factors into your daily life.
Participants will read assigned sections of the book in advance and be prepared to contribute to group discussions. The ability to turn on your camera and microphone to allow for active participation is required. The sessions will be led by Katie Taylor, MS, RDN, with Sound Dietitians, LLC.
A limited number of copies have been reserved at the Smokey Point/Lakewood Library for the Blue Zones Book Club. Please stop by or call the library at (360) 651-0774 for more information on how to check out a digital or physical copy of the book.
