Otago Fall Prevention Program [In-Person]

| FreeJoin us for our Spring session of Otago, a unique, progressive exercise program that’s been shown to reduce the risk of falls in participants by up to 35%. The group will meet twice a week with an Otago-trained physical therapist to complete seventeen strength and balance exercises. Benefits of the program include: strengthened balance, increased muscle strength, and enhanced general fitness and well-being.
What: This program meets twice a week for eight consecutive weeks.
When: Sessions will run from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm on Mondays and Thursdays. The first day of class is Monday, March 18th.

Cost: Free!!! There is no cost to participants.
Please note: Preliminary assessments will be done for new participants on Thursday, March 14th from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, prior to the first day of class. The final class is on Thursday, May 2nd. Final assessments will be done on Monday, May 6th for all participants.
